Paper Players Challenge #196 - Flowery Birthday Card

Good Morning!  I've decided to head back into challenge land.  This card is for The Paper Players Challenge #196.  It is a commissioned card for a birthday (obviously!).  Behind the card is the envelope (I just realized that it might look like it's part of the card - it's not!).  I just wanted it to stand out from the blanket I took the picture on..  Oops!  Anyway, about the card.  Pretty much everything here is Stampin' Up.  However, I had some card stock from Michael's that pretty much perfectly matches the new Stampin' Up coastal cabana paper, so I was pretty stoked about being able to use that!  So yes, the card stock is from Michael's, and the glitter glue is from a friend, but other than that - Stampin' Up.  The stamp I used for the blue flowers is from a set my mom had purchased back in 2001!  Still making the rounds :)  Anyway, I need to get my butt to work, so I hope you all have a wonderful day!  <3 JEM

  1. This is so serene and beautiful, love how the stamping on the BG continues over the circle with the sentiment, great colors too :)

  2. Jane, this is gorgeous! I love how you stamped your background first and them embossed it, and the circle layered on top. Thanks for sharing your creation with us at The Paper Players!

  3. This is so pretty! I love the stamping under the embossing, going to have to try this~
