Mojo Monday 278 & The Pink Elephant TPE184

Good evening all those who are still awake!  I have finally finished all the cards for the silent auction I'm donating to - yay!!!  So you may see a bit less activity from me for a while as I have lots of music related work coming up.  This first card is for The Pink Elephant Challenge TPE184.  The theme was hearts.  All the card stock is from Michael's, plus the black stamp.  Everything else is Stampin' Up.

This second card is for Mojo Monday 278.  The brown and cream card stock is fro Michael's, the blue paper from our wedding photo display, and everything else is Stampin' Up.  Hope you enjoy!  <3 JEM

Seize the Birthday & Merry Monday Challenge

Happy Monday, everyone!  I'm really excited because I'm going to a tea party tonight (thankfully, too, as I'm almost out of all my loose leaf tea!), but I thought I would share two cards with you.  This first one was for a card challenge at Always Playing With Paper, but unfortunately I did not complete it in time to enter.  The white card stock is from a friend and the brown paper is from Michael's.  The stamps, ink, punches, die, and glitter is from Stampin' Up.

This card is for a post at Seize the Birthday.  I really need to learn how to take better photos - it always seems to be hit and miss.  I changed the layout a bit by turning the card on its side (I hope that's okay?!).  The grey card stock and the clear stuff is from Michael's, the pink is from a friend, and everything else is Stampin' Up as usual.  Hope you have a great evening! <3 JEM

This card is for The Pink Elephant TPE183.  The brown card stock is from Michael's, the pink from a friend, the heart stamp from my mom, and everything else is Stampin' Up.  Hope you enjoy!  I'm off and running!!  <3 JEM

Something Girly

Happy Wednesday!  Today I had to keep reminding myself that it was "hump day" and if I made it through, the weekend would be just around the corner.  And what a better way to end the day than by making a card!  This card is for a post from Stampin' for the Weekend (man, that really seems appropriate today!), and the only requirement was that it be something girly.  All the card stock is from Michael's, and the stamps, ink, embossing folder, brads, and buttons are Stampin' Up.  The twine was from a Christmas present from a friend.  I'm off to bed - hope you like! <3 JEM

Seize the Birthday #2

Helloooo, everyone!  Another post for your viewing pleasure.  This card was made for a post from Seize the Birthday.  AND, my wonderful sister gave me a tutorial on properly resizing watermarks, so hopefully there will be no more distortion gong-shows!  The light blue card stock is from Michael's, the dark blue from our wedding photo display, the white from an Iris bag, and the patterned blue from Stampin' Up.  The letter stamps are from Hero Arts, and the mustaches are Stampin' Up (as well as the ink).  Hope you like!  <3 JEM

Mojo Monday 276

Two posts in one day?  Yep - catching up!  This post is for Mojo Monday 276.  Sorry for the distortion.. I really have to work on taking better photos!  This card is also going in a collection I'm making for a silent auction.  The cream, brown, teal, and purple card stock is from Michael's, the patterned paper from my mom, and the love on burlap is from a wedding favor bag.  I thought it was so cute!  The brads are from a friend.  My sis has been helping me with my watermark.  It's got a see-through background now, but I'm not so good at sizing it yet!  <3 JEM

Birthdays, Birthdays!

Oh my goodness - I totally forgot to post these cards from back in December!  So here they are.  This first card was for hubby's aunt.  All the card stock is from Michael's.  The doily is from my mom, as well as the ink and ribbon.  The pearls, brad, stamps, and punches are all Stampin' Up.

This card was for my only male cousin.  The brown card stock is from our wedding photo display, the yellow from my mom, and the blue is recycled from a card I received last year.  The punch and stamp are Stampin' Up, and the ink was mine.

Here's the inside!

These next two cards were made at Stamp Club this past December.  I'm a huge fan of the embossing folders that Stampin' Up has.  Apparently I was having issues keeping things straight that evening!

Hope you enjoy!  <3 JEM

Family Birthdays

Hello everybody!  We finally have our computer back (it needed a new hard drive) so I can finally post some cards!  This one was for my Oma.  The white cardstock is from a friend, the patterned paper from Michael's and Stampin' Up, the yellow from my mom, the ink and punch from Stampin' Up, and the stamps from I don't know where!

This card was for my uncle - they have the same birthday!   The brown cardstock is from Michael's, the gold and purple paper from my mom, and the two green and light beige(?) were mine.  The brads were from a friend, the ink from my mom, and the stamps were mine.  They both liked their cards very much!  I was hoping to get to some more card challenges this week, but without a computer it was hard to.  I've also got a super busy week that includes making 12 giant-sized cards for a missions weekend at our church next weekend.  Hopefully they all turn out - I'll be sure to share!  Have a good week! <3 JEM

Mojo Monday 274

Happy New Year everyone!  I can't believe it's 2013 already - time goes so much faster the older you get (except when waiting for Christmas - that still seems to take forever)!  Anyway, I started following a blog that has weekly card making challenges, and this is my first submission!  I'm excited for this card.. I think it's really cute ;)  It's for one of my hubby's relatives who loves Hello Kitty.  The white card stock is from Michael's, and all other card stock is from a wonderful friend that I miss dearly.  The ribbon is from a Christmas gift I received this year, the flower brad is Stampin' Up, and the blue brads are from my mom.  The stamp is also Stampin' Up (from my mom).  I purchased Hello Kitty in 1998 on an exchange to Japan that I participated in.  I hope she likes her card!! <3 JEM
