Fox and Friends Birthday Card

Happy Saturday all!  Just a quick card to share while baby is napping.  I'm so sad - he had his first haircut today - where did the time go?  Anyway, this card features the 2014-16 Stampin' Up In Colors, as well as the Moonlight Designer Series Paper, and the Fox and Friends stamp set.  The greeting is from the retired Birthday Whimsy stamp set.  Not gonna lie, I definitely had "What Does the Fox Say?" in my head the entire time.  And now you probably do too, haha!  Have a good weekend :)  <3 JEM

Career Graduation and 40th Wedding Anniversary Box Cards

Hey everyone!  Just wanted to share a couple of box cards I made for a recent order.  This first card was for my aunt, who retired from teaching this year - 42 years, I believe!

This second card was for my parent's friend's 40th wedding anniversary.

Hope you like! <3 JEM

Catalogue Release Party and Father's Day 2015

Happy Monday everyone! My lovely child slept in until almost 9am this morning, so I got to sleep in as well! So nice :)  These first two cards were made at the 2015-16 Stampin' Up catalogue release party that I attended at the beginning of June.  This card features one of the new In Colors for the next two years, Watermelon Wonder.  And the coordinating ribbon is oh-so-soft!

This card features Island Indigo card stock and ink, I believe, and the technique of stamping off your color to obtain a ombre effect.  I gave this card to my hubby for his first Father's Day.

And finally, these are the cards that I gave to our dads this year.  I made a mistake and put the fold for the card on the wrong angle, so instead of wrapping the ribbon around the card, I punched a few holes and wove it through instead.  Inspiration from Pinterest, of course.  Stampin' Up supplies used: Dictionary Background stamp (retired), Classic Alphabet (retired), Staz-on Black ink, Sahara Sand ink pad, 1" square punch, On Point Textured Embossing folder (currently in the clearance bin), Gold Baker's Twine, and Gold Basic Metal Buttons.  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! <3 JEM

A Schwack of Cards.. Yep!

Good evening!  I have a whole backlog of cards waiting to post, so I thought I would share 4 of them this evening to try and catch up.  All Pinterest inspired, of course!  I will do my best to share the details as I remember them.  This card was for a recent wedding shower I attended.  I finally broke out my butterfly thinlits and gave them a go.  So easy and so pretty!  Products used from Stampin' Up: Butterfly thinlits, Butterfly Basics stamp set, Wisteria Wonder card stock, Wisteria Wonder ink pad, Crumb Cake ink pad, Pearl Basic Jewels, some discontinued lace.  Everything else was either scraps I had or from Michael's.

Stampin' Up products used: DSP from 2014-15 catalogue (can't recall the name offhand), Strawberry Slush ink pad, Cycle Celebration stamp set, Pearls Basic Jewels, Decorative Dots embossing folder, erm, some kind of framelit.. Sorry, I'm tired and this was a long time ago!

Stampin' Up products used: the green card stock and ink is circa 2002-03 (so I don't know the name, sorry!), Fox and Friends Stamp Set, Chalk Talk stamp set, DSP from 2014-15 catalogue, Crushed Curry ink pad, Bermuda Bay ink pad, Tangelo Twist ink pad.

And ending with butterflies again cuz they're beautiful!  Stampin' Up products used: purple card stock again circa 2002-03, DSP from 2014-15 catalogue, Butterfly Basics stamp set, Butterfly thinlits, Old Olive ink pad, Blackberry Bliss ink pad, Pearls Basic Jewels.  Hope you liked them all and have a wonderful weekend celebrating Father's Day! <3 JEM

Birthday Cards

Happy Saturday, everyone!  Two posts in two days?  I know, right?!  Had to report my mat leave so I figured while I was on the computer I'd share a couple cards I made for some recent birthdays.  This first card uses some retired Stampin' Up card stock, the pink and yellow (from like 2002 era - from my mom).  The white card stock is from Michael's, and the Coastal Cabana is from Stampin' Up. The embossing folder, stamps, framelits, ink and punches are Stampin' Up.  I got the inspiration from this card from Etsy.

I believe this card is Mary Fish inspired.  Used some retired DSP and grommets from Stampin' Up.  The ink, stamp, and punches are Stampin' Up, and the white card stock is from Michael's.  Hope you like! <3 JEM

Mother's Day 2015

Good morning, everyone!  Just cleaning up some emails this morning so I thought I would share the card I made for Mother's Day this year (kinda late, I know!).  I got the idea from Pinterest, as usual.  The pink card stock was from my mom (she bought it from Stampin' Up over 10 years ago), the cream card stock from Michael's, and everything else is Stampin' Up.  It was actually my first time using the oval embossing folder and I just love the way it turned out!  Tonight the hubby and I are going on a long overdue date night - I'm really looking forward to it!  Do you have any plans for the weekend? <3 JEM
