Double Post

Good evening!  Tonight's post features two cards covering 4 challenges total.  I wanted to post them all together to save digital space, I suppose.  This first card is for The Pink Elephant 257, as well as Runway Inspired Challenge #63.  I was excited when I saw the inspiration photo as it let me try out my chevron punch for the first time.  I chose to keep it simple and bold with straight edges like the dress.

Here's the inside with the sentiment so you do know it's a birthday card (and that I did use a stamp!)   :)  The black card stock is from a friend, the white from some unpublished books at work, the floral from an anniversary gift from my hubby, and the stamp and ink are Stampin' Up.

This second card is for Seize the Sketch #23 as well as The Paper Players #202.  The Paper Players Challenge was a Tic-Tac-Toe, so I chose to use green, embossing, and birthday.  The green card stock is from my mom, and the white is from those same books at work.  The stamps, ink, embossing folder, and framelit are Stampin' Up.  Hope you enjoy!  <3 JEM

Summer Birthday

Good evening all!  Just a quick post before I head off to bed.  This is my submission for The Shabby Tea Room 224, as well as The Paper Players 201.  I just love the bright summery-ness of this card.  It's also quite the collage of product.  The pink card stock, brads, and ink are from my mom, the green polka dot paper was an anniversary gift from my hubby, and the stamps, green paper, and edgelits are Stampin' Up.  Hope you enjoy! <3 JEM

Paper Players Challenge #196 - Flowery Birthday Card

Good Morning!  I've decided to head back into challenge land.  This card is for The Paper Players Challenge #196.  It is a commissioned card for a birthday (obviously!).  Behind the card is the envelope (I just realized that it might look like it's part of the card - it's not!).  I just wanted it to stand out from the blanket I took the picture on..  Oops!  Anyway, about the card.  Pretty much everything here is Stampin' Up.  However, I had some card stock from Michael's that pretty much perfectly matches the new Stampin' Up coastal cabana paper, so I was pretty stoked about being able to use that!  So yes, the card stock is from Michael's, and the glitter glue is from a friend, but other than that - Stampin' Up.  The stamp I used for the blue flowers is from a set my mom had purchased back in 2001!  Still making the rounds :)  Anyway, I need to get my butt to work, so I hope you all have a wonderful day!  <3 JEM

Paper Players 156: Birthday Sketch

Hey hey!  This card is inspired by sketch 156 at The Paper Players.  It's the first card I've made for this big order I have.  I thought I would keep it simple.  The green card stock is from a friend, and the yellow is from Michael's.  The white is from the missionary cards I made back in January.  I fussy cut the tree, leaves, and bird out.  All the stamps and ink are from Stampin' Up, and the brads are from my mom (also Stampin' Up).  Hope you like! <3 JEM

Paper Players #155 - Happy Big Day!

Hello!  This is my card for The Paper Players Sketch #155.  This is actually a mini card for a project I'm working on.  The lady at Bernard Callebaut said she would be interested in buying some cards to sell with her chocolates, and I'm slowly getting up the nerve to make some.  That would be so awesome!  Anyway, pretty much everything about this card is Stampin' Up, with the exception of the ribbon (from my cousin's wedding favors), and the white card stock (from the missionary cards I made back in January).  Hope you like!  I'm off to fill a couple more orders - yay! <3 JEM
