Happy Friday everyone! Are you all ready for a long weekend? When hubby is home for the summer we tend to forget about things like that! (Not that I mind, of course!) Here's a few cards I made recently with a few new-to-me products. I made this set of four cards after I discovered the super easy technique of offsetting cards. Previously I had been trying to cut angles properly and stuff, and it sure wasn't too easy. With this technique, you cut your standard rectangle piece of card stock, layer it if you wish, and then make three cuts. With the last one, you need to make sure your angle is still going to work for the card, but it's way easier than what I'd been doing before. Anyway, this first card features the Chalk Talk stamp set from Stampin' Up, as well as the Beautiful Bunch stamp set, which conveniently now comes in a bundle so you can save a bit of money. All four cards feature the Retro Fresh designer series paper (DSP), which I love! |
